Well, you might be thinking what are MMIs?

MMIs stand for multiple mini interviews which unlike Panel interviews allow you to converse with and meet different interviewers through different stations. This allows interviewers to evaluate the different skills you have and asses your suitability to study the chosen course.

How to best prepare for your online interview….

Practice, Practice and Practice.

Get anyone from your family, friends, teachers to your neighbours to throw you random questions. You can even practice in the mirror! This will allow you to think under pressure and be able to organise and verbalise your thoughts as well as preparing you for the different stations.

Be yourself!

I know what you're thinking… That is so cliche? But it is very true. Interviewers will be able to see straight through the persona you may be putting on so just relax and be your genuine self. They just want to know what makes you unique and get to know you as a person and not hear scripted answers of what you think will impress them.

Believe in yourself.

You’ve worked so hard and you should be proud of yourself for reaching the interview stage! Believe it or not, having confidence in yourself radiates through the way you present yourself in front of the interviewers and it will help ease he nerves.

Look into what makes a good doctor.

This will allow you to see if your qualities are best suited to the profession as well as giving you something to reflect on during the different stations. There’s loads and loads of resources online.

Before you know it you’ll receive the well-awaited decision and notification from UCAS Track from all of your choices. I wish you the very best of luck, I believe in you and the interviewers do too so just allow them to get to know the person you really are! You’ve got this!
